Fortnite Challenges For Fun

At least Deadpool was presented in a humorous way and had his own weekly challenges to solve, which were often quite clever. Fortnite would be better served by making his challenges more difficult. Previously, at the end of each week’s challenges, if you completed them all, you would gain a special loading screen. Within that loading screen was a clue indicating the location of a Secret Battle Star. It was really fun and rewarding for players who took on all the challenges, but not just giving them that extra Battle Star – they still had to go get it.

I’ve already written about how messy and unnecessarily busy the new NPC system is. It’s harder to navigate the challenges, to see which week you’ve completed. In many ways, just seeing which challenges you face is harder than ever, while actually taking them on is easier and less interesting than ever. The second challenge would still require you to find a vase, but you should go and look near the pools that match the description. As a general rule, stick to assault rifles or SMGs when you’re first figuring out how to play Fortnite. Sniper rifles are useless under 75 metres, so although you’ll want to keep one handy do not use it in close quarters combat unless you absolutely have to.

This challenge requires the player to win at least one match of this unique game mode. It isn't terrible but isn't quite as easy to follow and can be a bit difficult to use with its slightly unfriendly user interface. Possibly the hardest challenge on this list, Cupid is all about helping love bloom on the battlefield. Using whatever weapon you see fit, your task here is to shoot at two different players while hidden, tricking them into fighting each other instead of you. Bonus points if you can do so from within a bush right next to one of the two. The best part of this strategy is that you can be sure the victorious lover will make their way over to loot their beloved, giving you an easy opportunity to gun them down them in turn.

One thing I liked about the Search Between challenges of Fortnite Chapter 1 is that they gave clues that you could figure out on your own, but which weren’t obvious. Finding between a farm, a racetrack, and a gas station is pretty easy to figure out, but at least it’s not right there on the in-game map. And older challenges, like finding gnomes, weren’t showing you exactly where to look, but gnomes would often make a little noise when you were nearby, letting you know their proximity. Although there are some perks available without spending a single dime, if you want to get the best skins and other items you'll need the Battle Pass. It costs 950 V-Bucks, meaning you'll need to buy the smallest V-Bucks bundle, at $9.99 / £7.99.

All the skins, banner icons, gliders, harvesting tools, loading screen, contrails, emotes, dances, sprays and more all live in your Locker. You can switch them in and out from here before every match, but you won't be able to change any of it in match, so make sure you're happy with your look and your equipped items before you drop. In the past we've had all sorts of different bombs to try out – smoke bombs, boogie bombs, stink bombs, shadow bombs, sticky bombs – which all became a bit tricky to keep track of. However, things have been massively simplified in Chapter 2 as there are now only standard grenades available, and we all know how they work.

All possible chests and vehicles are guaranteed to spawn in Battle Lab too, so you can learn where each chest is likely to be and familiarise yourself with your favourite locations. Dealing damage with a pickaxe is quite difficult because getting close enough to do damage without being shot is near impossible. The easiest way to complete this challenge is by trying to deal damage immediately after dropping into the game so that the opponent doesn't have a chance to get a weapon. Wick's Bounty is a John Wick themed game mode that has players killing other players to collect coins and whichever player or team collects the most coins at the end of the match wins.

These challenges offer plenty of XP when completed, giving players the perfect opportunity to earn enough Battle Stars to unlock all of the skins and cosmetics on offer in the Season 7 Battle Pass. Alternatively, Fortnite Funny you can walk up to any featured island in the Welcome Hub and enter the code there. After a brief load time, the game you’re looking for should display. If you are successful the squad will then offer you a weapon and allow you to join their team as a pawn.

This challenge deserves a high spot on this list because any player that doesn't have the Fortnite map memorized will have at least a bit of trouble with this challenge. Searching a chest isn't a hard task, however, campfires and vending machines are few and far between. Dealing damage with 5 different weapons is going to being a strenuous task for even the most seasoned Fortnite player. This is because the player will have to find 5 different types of weapons and then be able to do damage with every one of them at least once.

Visit different Wind Turbines in a single match (0/5) — Wind turbines are located in different parts of the island, but to easily finish this task, head to Pleasant Park. There are six turbines in the mountains surrounding this area. Just run from one to another until you’ve been to five of them. Place trap items in different matches (0/5) — Trap items can be a little hard to find, but luckily, all that is required for this challenge is to place them and not get eliminations. As soon as you obtain one, place it at the nearest building or simply create your own structure to use for the trap. Now that’s out of the way, you can see a screenshot and a map showing the Fortnite submarine location above.
